April 27-May 3, 2025

As we approach the final weeks leading up to Easter and the joyous celebration of Christ’s resurrection, our focus turns to Jesus in the Psalms. In particular, Psalm 22 is a powerful Messianic passage, foreshadowing the dialogue Christ would experience in His moments of abandonment, suffering, and ultimately, His triumph over death through the resurrection. As you reflect on these verses, pray that God would grant you the mind of Christ, allowing you to fully engage with the passage during this sacred time of reflection, preparation, and celebration!

This week's Bible reading: Psalm 22

Focus Verses: Psalm 22:16-23

Day 1: What ways have you been hiding your face from Jesus? He is not hidden from us any longer. He is with us and within us! Reveal an area you may be holding onto shame. Guilt and shame are from the enemy. Godly sorrow leads to repentance. Bring those things to the surface before God alone.

Day 2: Dominion belongs to the Lord. Have you been facing challenges in your family life? Take some time to pray among the rooms of your house today. Walk room to room and pray for protection, peace, and love over those who live in your home.

Day 3: Do you think of yourself as rich? You are a daughter of a king. From the line of royalty. Remind yourself of this truth today and stand confidently in your identity in Him.

Day 4: Who have you told about the Lord this week? Pray and look for an opportunity to share Him with someone in the next generation today.

Day 5: He has done it!!! Take some time today to thank God for what He has done this week. You have one wild and precious life. Thank God for what great things He has done for you.

Challenge: Write down one thought from Psalm 22 that you learned from these readings and put it somewhere you can see it - sticky note on a mirror or index card in your car dash. Remember the truths He has given in His Word and write them on your heart.
